Legend of Kute Beach

Sasak communities in southern part of West Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Barat / NTB), Indonesia is still believe a mysterious legend of Kute Beach, Lombok. The legend tells the incomparable beauty of a royal Princess Mandalike (Mandalika) from the Teberu Kingdom (Kuripan). She is a princess who became the idol of every man but one day she disappeared without trace at Kute Beach. Kute beach has white sandy beaches facing south and a cliff-lined bay that juts into the sea on either side. The sea is blue, while on the east side of the mountain grows smaller and rocks sticking out into the sea level is indeed a fascinating natural ornaments.

Every year at this beach a festival called Bau Nyale / Buru Nyali (Buru: hunting; Nyali: sea worms) held in February-March to commemorate the sacrifices made by the Princess Mandalike for her people.

The name of this beach comes from the Sasak language; "Kute", which has the meaning of Ku (I) and Te (there). "I was there" is the last word when Princess Mandalike at the cliffs when answering questions from the three princes fighting over for her love and eventually disappear. The meaning of the word is she wanted to have them wait there at the Kute Beach.

Once upon a time, because of Princess Mandalike beauty, the crown prince from the three different kingdoms wanted to marry her. The King of Teberu was confused to choose one of the prince to side with her daughter. Since the three of them are the heir to the throne, rich and handsome.

The king and his daughter could not accept the proposal of one of them because they think it could lead to war. Then the king asked some advice to the royal advisor. After asked his advisor, the King decided that the three crown prince must accept an impossible challenge by hunting in the woods to look for a heart of the white deer. Even though in Lombok at that time there was no white deer, only brown deer. Surprisingly, the three of them was able to get the heart of white deer.

Finally the princess asked to do meditation in order to be guided by the Sang Hyang Widhi (Hindu God) to choose one of the three crown prince. From the result of the meditation, it turns out to be a specified place on the south coast.

Early morning, Princess Mandalike accompanied by the royal family with all his people, and the three crown prince who wish to be her chosen husband headed to the south coast.

Upon arriving at the beach, the sky suddenly darkened and the rain pouring down. Not only that, storms and typhoons hit them. They scattered to save themselves, including Princess Mandalike ran to the cliff to avoid the brunt of the sea waves while the three crown prince trying to catch up and rescue the princess. When they asked where the princess headed to, the princess shouting that she will be waiting on the cliff: "Kute" (I was there), "she shouted.

The statue of Princess Mandalike
Apparently that was her last word. The storm began to subside the next day, the princess already disappeared without a trace. When the sky was clear and the sea was calm with no waves, a fisherman surprised when he looked in the distance there was millions of sea worms (Nyali). He tell the others about the sea worms, the people believed that Nyali is the reincarnation of her missing princess.

Sea Worms (Nyali)

Her people began to realize how the princess loved them. She chose not settled on one of the three crown prince who proposed to her. Because when she choosing one of them, then the others will get angry and started war between kingdoms. The worst impact is she will lose her father and the kingdom. She love her family and her people so much. She is willing to sacrifice for the sake of their safety, and decided to not choose for her personal gain.

Until now, Sasak people believe that hunting sea worm on the festival will bring fortune. For a pregnant woman, she will happily eat the sea worms on Kute Beach in hopes her daughter will be as beautiful as Princess Mandalike. For the farmers, they believe that if the sea worms deployed in their paddy fields then the land will be fertile and the harvest will be bountiful.

Cog Stones of the Topanga Culture

Cog Stones or Cogged Stones are gear-like stone discs with 61/8 inches or less in diameter, with a thickness up to two inches. These artifacts are also known variously as cog-wheel stones, or rosette stones. They are obviously a local invention since they are limited in distribution to a portion of southern California and find only approximate counterparts in appearance in other parts of the world. The Cog Stones of the Topanga Culture are the most famous mysterious artifacts which have been found in the Bolsa Chica State Beach, California. They present an element of the unusual and puzzling which intrigues both the popular and the scientific mind. Their exact purpose is unknown, but speculation has centered on religious or astronomical use.

Bolsa Chica Wetlands, California
The cog stones come with different characteristics such as hemispherical grooves, cups, cusps, and dents, sprocketed teeth around the edges, as well as cookie-cutter patterns. Most all of these features occur at precise and repeating intervals, and about 15% had a single hole bored through the center. These holes are narrower on one side, have elliptical sides, are conical, or double conical, where the entry point holes are narrower on either side than at the midpoint. One of the artifacts in particular has a striking anomaly in that it has perfectly square perforation in the middle, something that would be troublesome to duplicate even with our present machine shop technology.

Cog Stones and other artifacts
Many of the cog stones are found at the circa 6,000 B.C.E. strata, containing artifacts that are some of the most primitive found in North America. According to Clement Woodward Meighan, an archaeologist, the Topanga Culture dated back as far as 8000 B.C. It seems pretty obvious that the later peoples may have found the relics of the previous culture and they thus became deposited in their strata. Topanga is the name given to the area by the Native American indigenous Tongva tribe, and may mean "a place above". It was the western border of their territory, abutting the Chumash tribe that occupied the coast from Malibu northwards.

Most archaeologists assumed they were used on some kind of ritual or ceremony. This assumption is based on the fact that an examination of the stones themselves and the conjunctions in which they have been found produces no real clues as to how they may have been employed. Stone club heads and stone heads for staves used in ceremony are reported ethnographically from various parts of the world. However, most of the perforated cogged stones have a biconical hole which tapers to such a small dimension that they would have to be hafted on a stick. All possibility of secular use should not be ruled out, until more evidence of secular function is obtained it is best to regard the cogged stone as "ceremonial." These cog stones can be seen at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.

The Cursed Cauldron of Lincolnshire

In the Manor Farm's cellar of North Lincolnshire, there is an old iron cooking pot rumored to be cursed. It has been sealed there for 35 years by the previous owner. At the end of the 19th Century, the farm was haunted by an evil spirit so badly, until the owners exorcised the spirit by trapping it in an old cauldron- which was filled with pins and earth- and sealed it away in a small cellar. Legend said that if the cauldron were removed from the cellar, the evil spirit would be free and haunt the farm again.

According to a young lady who lived at the farm in the late 1880's, she was told a folklorist named Mabel Peacock of Lincolnshire that the farm was haunted by a goblin called Hobthrust. A Hobthrust is a household goblin reportedly sighted in the north of England. This one is similar with the Yorkshire Robin-Round Cap or Scottish Brownie. He always appear at midnight carrying a cauldron and stirring it when he walked around. It was contained children thumbbones and sand.

It was said whoever touch and disturbed the cauldron will be cursed with a violent death. At least three people are said to have died because of it. The first was a young boy. He found the cauldron while playing at the cellar and then immediately he took it from the cellar and threw it into the village pond. Within an hour he was run over and killed by a hay wagon. Several days later, the cauldron was found by an unknown man, he retrieved it from the pond and returned to the cellar. He died mysteriously within few hours. The third victim of the curse was Charles Atkins (6 years old), whose family lived at Manor Farm in the 1930`s. Few hours after touching the pot he was also killed by a hay wagon, similar with the first victim.

In 1975, the late John Atkins (Charles' older brother), spoke about the incident in a local news paper. He said, his father always warned him and his little brother to stay away from the cauldron. But when he and Charles were playing in the cellar, Charles touch it. The next day while they were playing at the fields near the Humber river, Charles was hit and killed by a wagon

There was an old legend in the village about the cauldron and they were told that it contained the dwarf's ashes who was killed at Thornton Abbey. Also there was a mysterious tunnel between the Abbey and the cellar. Few moment after the dwarf was killed, he was brought by the monks through the tunnel and his remains were disposed of in secret. After Charles Atkins' death, the cellar containing the cursed cauldron was bricked up, and it remained there for 35 years.

before it was sealed up in an iron cage

In 1974, John Morton a local business man bought the farm and began extensive renovations. He wanted to fixing the old cellar by breaking the brick of wall which sealed the cellar's entrance. However, after hearing the legend, the workmen refused to go anywhere near the corner of the cellar where the old iron pot had lain undisturbed for so long. Later a local minister named Rev. Bob Kenyon, who believe in the curse, offered to remove it. He convinced that he would be immune from the evil spirit.

However, Mr. Morton decided to sealed it away by having the iron pot placed in a steel cage and buried in the cellar. With the help of Alfred Darwood, a local builder, the cursed cauldron is remained undistubed. He said, no one actually believe the legend about goblin, dwarf and the cursed cauldron, so he and Mr. Morton put the steel plates around it without even touching or moving the pot.

Sumerian Planisphere

The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible story 5,000 years ago has been unexpectedly corroborated by an ancient Sumerian clay tablet known as the Sumerian Planisphere. According to a startling report from two scientists who have spent eight years of researches, the tablet, which had baffled scholars for 150 years, in fact is a virtual eyewitness description of an ancient asteroid hit that destroyed the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, killed thousands people and causing devastation more than 386,000 square miles. The event is called the “Köfels’s Impact Event" by the scientists and it is said to be related to a great landslide episode. The impact itself is equivalent to more than 1,000 tons of TNT exploding.

The Sodom and Gomorrah story from the Old Testament tells how the ‘wicked’ behaviour of the natives offended Abraham who personally chose to live elsewhere, but, nevertheless, pleaded with two angelic visitants—come to warn of the cities’ impending demise—to spare them for the sake of his nephew Lot, who, despite Abraham’s rejection, had chosen to live in Sodom. Lot and his family were ultimately rescued before the end, but Lot’s wife who—though warned not to—looked back at the final conflagration, was said to have been turned into a pillar of salt. Some have argued that the turning to salt could have been an apt description of what might happen to someone too close to the great heat of a nuclear blast.

Sumerian Planisphere
Based on a theory of two rocket scientists, Alan Bond and Mark Hempsell, the tablet which discovered by the Victorian archaeologist Henry Layard in the ruins of the royal palace at Nineveh is a description from Sumerian astrologer about the night sky on June 29, 3123 B.C. shortly before dawn.

By using the computers they can recreate the night sky thousands of years ago, and finally pinpointed the eyewitness account on the tablet. Bond and Hempsell said that the tablet is a 700 B.C. copy of a far older tablet.

Half of the tablet shows the position of planets and clouds, while the other half describes the movement of an object looking like a ‘stone bowl’ traveling in magnificent speed across the sky. The fast moving object is said to match a kind of asteroid known as the Aten type which orbits the sun close to earth. Its trajectory would have put it on a collision course with the Otz Valley.

Hempsell said, “It came in at a very low angle—around six degrees—and then clipped a mountain called Gaskogel around 11 kilometers from Köfels.” Hempsell went on to explain how the object exploded as it traveled down the valley and ultimately produced an event of literally biblical proportions.

Bond and Hempsell do claim that the explosion would have generated a massive mushroom cloud and filled the air for hundreds of miles with thick dust or the “Köfels’s Impact Event". However, according to geologists, the Köfels’s event is generally thought to have occurred around nine thousand years ago, far earlier than the 3123 B.C. date referenced of Sumerian record, Bond and Hempsell believes that the dating mistake caused by contaminated samples used in the earlier analysis.

Other researchers disagree, they said the claims of Bond and Hempsell are controversial. John Taylor, a retired archaeologist at the British Museum, said that our knowledge of Sumerian language was far from complete and there was no evidencethat the ancient Sumerians were able to create such astronomical records accurately.

Whether Bond and Hempsell are right or not, there is little doubt that when it comes to recognizing the true advancement of the ancients, because the mainstream science has a very poor record.

Mysterious Disappearance of Nanking Soldiers In 1939

In 1939, nearly 3,000 troops were mysteriously disappeared in the south of Nanking. They were prepared to defend the area from the Japanese. Two hours later an aide reported contact with the troops had been lost. When their leader came to inspect the next morning, there was no trace of them anywhere. Their guns were found stacked beside their small cooking fires but not the people who carried them. The entire troops was gone. Had the Japanese attacked during the night and dragged them all away? That seemed impossible. Yet, the colonel and his aides had not heard any sounds during the night. What, then, had happened to those men? Nobody captured nor anyone attacked the troops. Then, how could they vanish?

At that time, the Japanese pushed toward the heart of China. They began to march on Nanking, the capital. But the mighty Yangtze River stretched across their path. To reach Nanking, they would have to cross a narrow bridge. The Chinese commander, Colonel Li Fu Sien, decided to fight at that bridge. If he could stop the Japanese there, he just might save his country.

Yangtze River Map

On December 10th, 1939, Colonel Li Fu Sien stationed his 2,988 troops across an area in the rolling hills of Nanking. The men were placed along a line some 3.2 km long set up to defend a bridge on the Yangtze River. They were equipped with large amounts of heavy artillery and were quite prepared to fight to the last man if necessary. They seemed ready for battle. The colonel went to his tent to get some sleep.

The next morning, Colonel Li Fu Sien was awoken by an aide that they were unable to make any contact with the troops on the defense line. Soon afterwards, he formed and lead an investigating party to find out what had happened with the troops. On arrival at the line, every position was deserted however there was no sign of struggle or fighting and not a single soldier to be found anywhere. The equipment remained. The heavy artillery stood in position ready to be fired, but there was no one there.

The only way across that river was over the bridge. Near to the bridge, they were interrogated the remained sentries for information. They swore that not a single soldier had crossed the bridge during the night. None of them had seen or heard a thing. One or two soldiers might have slipped past them—but not nearly 3,000 soldiers. The missing troops were never found.

After a long time, when the Japanese had withdrawn and the war finally ended, the Japanese's records were examined for some clue as to what may have befallen the missing men. The Japanese had attacked Nanking at that time. The Chinese authorities thought that the soldiers might have been taken prisoner by them. But then why did the Japanese leave their arms? When their records were checked, many astonishing facts came to light. The Japanese never captured such a large number of Chinese soldiers.

Several theories has been emerge to explained the troops disappearance. At the time, only two answers seemed possible. They must have gone over to the Japanese, or they must have quietly surrendered. While some people relate the incident with Hollow Earth theory, they think that the troops were taken into the Inner Earth through a portal in the hill area of the Nanking region. For some reason, these troops were led by an extraterrestrial being to an inner world. Maybe these troops were somehow stunned or hypnotized while they were relaxing in their camps, and they were unable to think clearly, then they were walked into the portal and transported to another place. The purpose of the capture of so many soldiers was they were simply used as a military force, a mercenary force to fight certain battles that the aliens needed them to fight. Where could have they gone? Were they taken to another planet? Until today, this incident remained shrouded in mystery.

Georgia Guidestones The America's Stonehenge

The Georgia Guidestones is a Stonehenge-like configuration of six massive granite stones erected in Elbert County, Georgia, in 1980 and also known as "America's Stonehenge." The 4 large stones each facing West, North, East and South are engraved with 10 guidelines for future generations (Age of Reason) in eight different languages. The fifth stone slab stand in the center, while the sixth slab act as a capstone lies on top of the five slabs. The stones also line up with certain astronomical features. The origin of this monument remain shrouded in mystery. They were commissioned by a mysterious man who went by the pseudonym of Robert C. Christian.

The monument which consists of six granite slabs is 5.87 m tall and weighing 107,840 kg in all. One language engraved on each face of the four large stones, moving clockwise around the monument from north side, are : English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese and Russian.

These are the message of the Georgia Guidestones (English version):

"Let these be guidestones to an age of reason"

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity
3. Unite humanity with a living new language
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials
8. Balance personal rights with social duties
9. Prize truth - beauty - love- seeking harmony with the infinite
10. Be not a cancer on the earth - leave room for nature - leave room for nature

At the top of the structure, a shorter message is inscribed in four ancient languages: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit and Egyptian hieroglyphs. On the west side of the monument, there is another stone tablet has been set in the ground, provides few notes on the history.

It all began in June 1979, when a stranger asked Joe Fendley (the president of Elbert Granite Finishing Company, Inc in Elberton Georgia) to build a monument. He introduced himself as Robert C. Christian. He said that he represented a "small group of loyal American who believe in God" who lived outside of Georgia and wished to leave a message for future generations. Few minutes later, he meet Wyatt C. Martin at the office of Granite City Bank. Martin was chosen by Christian as the banker and intermediary for the project. After a brief introduction, he told Martin that the group of sponsors wished to remain anonymous and R.C. Christian is not his real name, the name is chosen because of his Christian faith.

Christian told Martin that he had visited monuments throughout Europe and was impressed with Stonehenge. He also discussed possible sites for the monument. At first he said he wanted it erected in a remote, wilderness area away from the main tourist centers. Christian had chosen a secluded section of middle Georgia in Hancock County on a line which stretched from Augusta westward. The state of Georgia was selected for several reasons:
  • the availability of excellent granite
  • a generally mild climate which might help insure the permanence of the monument
  • his great grandmother was a Georgia native
Martin disagree with Christian idea, he said it would be wiser to erect it in the Elberton area instead of Hancock County, because it would be lower the cost of the project and this area was considered by the Indians as "the center of the world". Christian like Martin explanation and agree with him.

The Georgia Guidestones on March 1980
(Could one of these people be the mysterious Mr. Robert C, Christian?)
After nine month of working on the monument. The Georgia Guidestones were finally unveiled on March 22, 1980 before a crowd of over 400 people. It is located on a hilltop in Elbert County, Georgia, approximately 140 km east of Atlanta, 72 km from Athens, and 14 km north of the center of Elberton. The stones are standing on a rise a short distance to the east of Georgia Highway 77 (Hartwell Highway), and are visible from that road.

The sponsors of the Georgia Guidestones expect these granite slabs to endure and pass along their "message" for hundred of years. And nothing more will probably ever be known about R. C. Christian, because on his second visit with Fendley, he said he would never visit him again. Actually Martin compiled a file on the Georgia Guidestones, however upon completion of the monument he shredded the records and letters so no trace of the sponsors may ever be known.

For several years, the Georgia Guidestones have become a subject of interest for conspiracy theorists. Mark Dice is one of them, he demanded that the monument to be smashed into a million pieces, and then the rubble used for a construction project. He said that the monument are of "a deep Satanic origin", and that R. C. Christian belongs to "a Luciferian secret society" related to the New World Order.

Mysterious Disappearance of the Lake in Southern Chile

On May 27, 2007, an unnamed lake in Patagonia, southern Chile were discovered has been dry up mysteriously. The Chile's National Forestry Corporation (CONAF) asked geologists immediately to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the lake which located at the Bernardo 0'Higgins National Park 2,000 km south of Santiago, after discovering a thirty-meter deep crater instead of the body of water. While observing the empty lake, they found huge cracks with hole inside it, the iceberg that used to floats on the water just stood at the bottom of the lake.

The condition of the lake
several months before May 2007

This is how the lake looks like on May 2007

Juan Jose Romero the Regional Director of CONAF told Radio Cooperativa explain the current situation at the time that they were surprised to see the five-miles lake had disappeared in two months. Last time Mr. Juan and his team saw it during a routine patrol in March 2007 and there were nothing unusual about it, everything seems normal. Then, they went again in May, the lake had completely disappeared, and it caused the significant drop in the water level of a river nearby the empty lake.

Geologists and other experts who investigate the lake said that possible explanation for the disappearance is ice floes that damming up the lake’s natural outlet could have given way under the pressure of accumulating lake water. Other theory is possibly caused by an earthquake. The region is shaken by frequent earth tremors and one idea is that a strong quake which hit the neighbouring region of Aysen fjord, few hundred kilometers from the lake in April opened up the cracks in the bottom of the lake. However Carlos Palacios, a geologist from University of Chile said, these phenomena are not triggered by earthquakes which occured hundred kilometers away-although it may have accelerated the drain process.

Andres Rivera, a glacier specialist from Scientific Research Centre of Valdivia, explained to a Chilean newspaper that actually the lake itself did not exist thirty-years ago and the disappearance of the lake seemed to be part of gradual landscape reformation.

Until now the main cause of the loss of the lake water is still debated and there is no satisfactory answer.

The Mysterious Face of Badlands Guardian

On November 2006, Lynn Hickox (53) discovered a magnificent rock formation which resemble a face of native American wearing an earphone. She accidentally found it while surfing Google Earth on the internet. Mrs. Hickox who lives in a small Canadian town has posted her find on the Google Earth forum using "Supergranny" as her nickname. She said that she was just looking for directions to a dinosaur museum. While examining images on Google Earth, suddenly it showed up, only on her second outing on Google Earth. The mysterious image can be found on this coordinates: 50° 0'38.20"N 110° 6'48.32"W using Google earth.

The mysterious rock formation in Alberta, Canada
The rock formation also known as Indian Head eventually called the Badlands Guardian after various names were suggested by CBC Radio One program "As It Happens". At first it was named "Guardian of the Badlands" then they altered it become "Badlands Guardian".

The Badlands Guardian located in one of Canada's key gas fields, about 350 kilometres southeast of Calgary, near the border with the United States. The nearest town is Medicine Hat known as The Gas City, which also claims to be Canada's sunniest spot.

The rock formation's "face" measures about 255 metres across and about 225 metres long. It sits on land leased by local ranchers Shirley and Norman Freimark. They said that their cattle have grazed in the area for nine years. The feature can only be viewed from the air, and it looks like a human head facing westward, wearing a native American feathered headdress and an earphone. The details of the head are amazing since it was formed naturally by the erosion of rainwater on layers of clay-rich soil. The 'head' may have been created during a short period of fast erosion immediately following intense rainfall. Although the image appears to be a convex feature, it is actually concave — that is, a valley, an instance of the Hollow-Face illusion. The earphone actually an oil well and a road, which were installed at that time.

"It was a stroke of luck that the feature appeared in the satellite images," said Duane Froese, a geology professor at the University of Alberta.

Annabelle The Haunted Raggedy Doll

In 1970s, Father Hegan an Episcopalian priest were told by two nurses that they experiencing paranormal activity in their home. Soon afterwards Father Hegan asked Ed and Lorraine Warren to investigate it. Based on the story of the nurses (Donna Jennings and Angie Stapleton), and Lou Carlo (Angie's boyfriend), the malevolant spirit seemed possessing a big raggedy doll which has the size of a small child, called Annabelle. One day they were leave the apartment to work, and after they return, they would find the doll in a different position already, and the weird part is the doll sometimes found in a different area of the apartment. They kept the apartment locked when they leave and no one else inside their apartment.

Annabelle inside the Warren Occult Museum
According to Donna, she had received the raggedy doll from her mother, as a birthday present of the previous year. At the time, Donna was a college student, she was preparing to graduate for her nursing degree, then she rent a small apartment with Angie (also a nurse), her room mate. Donna and Angie noticed that there is something unusual and creepy about the doll. The doll started to move around the apartment by itself. On the other time, they leave the apartment locked with the doll on the bed with its arms and legs crossed, when they return they find it sitting or kneeling on a chair.

The doll not only can move by itself but it could write too. It leaves a notes on a small parchment paper said "HELP US" and "HELP LOU" written with a pencil, and it looked like a small child's handwriting. However, when they found the notes, there was no paper, nor was there a pencil around on the apartment. Lou Carlo was Angie's boyfriend and he had been with them since the doll brought into the apartment.

Another creepy incident happens, when a statue flying in the midair and fall on the apartment floor. On the other night, Donna and Angie arrived and find bloodstain on the doll's chest, the back of her hand and on her dress. After that, they contact a medium immediately.

During the seances, the medium said that a seven-year-old girl had died on the apartment building few years ago. Her name was Annabelle Higgins, she was live and played in the area before the building was built there. The Annabelle's spirit wishes to live in the rag doll and stay in the apartment with Donna and Angie. They approve the spirit's wishes and didn't think that was a problem at all and then they call it Annabelle.

However Lou didn't like Annabelle and afraid of it. On several occasions he warned Donna and Angie that it was evil and asked them to get rid of it as soon as possible. Since it was a birthday present, Donna want to keep Annabelle and not listening Lou's warning about the doll. One night Lou asleep in the apartment alone and experience a nightmare. When he was awake in shocked he couldn't move his body at all. He looked around the apartment's room, then his eyes noticed that Annabelle moving closely from his leg, onto his chest and then within seconds its tiny hands was strangling his neck. Eventually Lou passed out, and awoke the next morning. He pretty sure it wasn't a bad dream, so he persuade Donna to get rid of it. But still Donna refused to do it.

Until one day, when Lou and Angie stay in the apartment reading over maps to prepare a road trip. They heard a suspicious sound coming from Donna's room. They think someone or maybe a thief had possibly broken into the room. Before entering, Lou waited until the noises stop and then open the door. But when he turning the light on, he only saw Annabelle on the floor in the corner of the room.

Lou searching around and checked the window's room, there was no forced entry and nothing unusual. He decided to grab Annabelle to put it back on the bed, where it used to be. Suddenly he feels that someone was standing behind him. He turning his body quickly as possible and realize that no one there, while Angie still waiting outside the room. Then in a second he feels that something scratch over his chest and his shirt was stained with blood. He open his shirt and saw 7 claw marks, the wounds healed the next couple day.

After the Lou's incident, Donna realize that the spirit in her doll has evil nature, and it's definitely not an innocent young girl's spirit. So she decided to contacted Father Hegan, and since it's an evil spirit he tell the story to Father Cooke the high priest who immediately contacted the Warrens.

Edward Warren Miney and Lorraine Warren (Lorraine Rita Moran) also called the Warrens were a couple of American paranormal investigators and authors associated with prominent cases of hauntings. They are best known for their involvement in the Amityville Horror case in which New York couple George and Kathy Lutz claimed that their house was haunted by a violent, demonic presence so intense that it eventually drove them out of their home.

The Warrens then asked Donna, Angie and Lou to tell the whole story concerning the rag doll and the creepy incidents that occured in the apartment. After hearing the story, the Warrens concluded that actually the doll did not possessed by a spirit, but it's manipulated by inhuman presence maybe an evil spirit. This spirit can attach itself to a place or object, in this case the doll (Annabelle) and then manipulated it so it can posses a human being, because this kind of spirit looking for a human as host.

Finally the Warrens decided to do an exorcism, with the help of Father Cooke's blessing to cleanse the apartment from evil spirit. Father Cooke then perform the seven page rite of exorcism to fill the apartment with the positive power of God. The Warrens believed that the spirit would no longer haunt the apartment, and take Annabelle with them for further investigation.

Upon leaving the apartment, Ed placed Annabelle in the back seat of the car. He feels that the evil spirit still manipulated the doll. In a couple of minutes, the car suddenly uncontrollable and the brake did not respond at all. Ed grab his black bag and took out a holy water and spoused all over the doll while making the sign of the cross. The car stopped immediately, and back to normal again. They arrived at home safely.

The Warrens kept the doll in Ed's working room, however it kept levitating and moving around. And on other occasion a black cat suddenly appeared around the doll. Eventually they sealed the doll inside a wooden cabinet with a plain wood crucifix in their Warren Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.

SS Great Eastern The Cursed Ship

SS Great Eastern was 19,000 tons steamship and considered as the largest ship in the world at the time of her 1859 launch. It was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and built by J. Scott Russell & Co. at Millwall on the River Thames, London. However, this ship was surrounded with misfortunes and bad luck even before she hit the water. The ship was designed to carry goods and people to India and Australia, without stopping for fuel.Twice the length and five times the weight of any previous ship. It would be the largest moveable object man had ever created.

In July 1858, she was christened as Leviathan by Henrietta (daughter of a major fundraiser for the ship, Henry Thomas Hope). However, her name subsequently changed back to Great Eastern.

In 1859, an attempt to launch the ship ended in failure. 30 August 1859 was given as the date of the first voyage, but this was later put back to 6 September. Due to technical problems, they could not get the ship into the water on the date it was slated to be launched. The destination was Weymouth, from which a trial trip into the Atlantic would be made. Ship builders did eventually get the Great Eastern launched, but it seem from that point on the ship was cursed.

During her building, a riveter and his apprentice simply vanished. In September 1859 her maiden voyage was cut short by a boiler explosion. Her second company collapsed under the expense of repairs and a new firm took her on. She got stuck on the runway for three months. And when she finally took to the water, Brunel had a stroke, fell to the deck and died. She reaching New York in June 1860, for the next two months she was exhibited to the public and made voyages along the U.S. coast. Five firemen died when a funnel exploded, another crewman was crushed in the paddle wheel. Her skipper perished in a small boat with a child passenger. Another sailor died in the paddle, yet another fell overboard and drowned. A two-day excursion off the US coast turned into a near-disaster when the ship drifted 100 miles (160km) into the Atlantic. Her fortunes seemed to have turned when she was hired to lay the trans-Atlantic cable – but the cable was lost and she returned in shame.

Few years later, in 1862 voyage it ran aground and took severe damage from hitting rocks. It was discovered that the rock had opened a gash in the ship's outer hull over 9 feet wide and 83 feet long. When a crew of workman went below to repair the damage, they resurfaced in a hurry, claiming that they could hear a pounding noise coming from the hull as if someone were trying to get out. The superstitious work crew refused to return to work on the ship, believing that the sound was that of the spirits of the dead riveters trying to get out.

By 1874, she was laid up to rot in Milford Haven, Wales. Fifteen years later, when she was broken up for scrap, they found the skeletons of the riveter and his apprentice in her double hull.
